The Aurora Walker's Point Community Clinic provides free care for the homeless and uninsured on Milwaukee's near South Side. The clinic has become a nationally recognized model for innovative approaches in improving the health of a socioeconomically disadvantaged community. This collaborative model--which is affiliated with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health/Milwaukee Clinical Campus--is a prototypical health center of the future, where wellness and prevention services are closely linked to complementary medicine and traditional medical care.
