Governor Doyle's Proclamation of April as Alcohol Awareness Month
Gov. Jim Doyle's proclamation of April as Alcohol Awareness Month, issued in April 2008, includes a call to increase screenings for potential alcohol use disorders as part of regular health exams and to support and encourage referrals to treatment when an alcohol use disorder is suspected or is present.
These procedures are being implemented by the Wisconsin Initiative to Promote Healthy Lifestyles.
